R.S.V.P Vladimir Putin

I cannot believe the newest idiocy by President Obama and his Secretary of State, John Kerry.

rsvp

Not only is Obama acting like the provincial wuss, but also, he’s allowing Kerry to spew the same verbal rhetorical garbage to the media.  Obama is showing the world and especially our allies that he is spineless and talk is cheap.  He might as well just give Putin an invitation and a R.S.V.P. to come to our country and help himself,  especially now with Obama’s budget cuts to our military.  Every move backward, that Obama takes, is a forward dare by Putin.  I’m very sure Putin is watching every dysfunctional step in our government structure and he’s taking advantage of it knowing Obama has no kahunas.

With all this happening in the Crimean Peninsula and the Ukraine, what does Obama do?  He decides to let the EPA, set new restrictions on sulfur content in the gasoline production, for the second time, from 90 % to 10%.  There is no indication or evidence of why that reduction is being promulgated and enacted if it does not help the environment or our health.  All it does is increase costs of our gasoline usage by at least a dime a gallon and screws the car manufacturers by making them make changes to the manufacturing processes, resulting in higher car prices.

It’s another crushing blow to our economic struggle for improvement.    Obama might as well get on Air Force One and take a seat next to Putin in Russia, and then annex the US as Russian property.  We have two and a half years more of Obama’s dictatorship and no one is doing anything about it.  All Congress is doing is sitting on their proverbial asses and allowing Obama to do whatever the hell he wants.  Harsh language, you say, you betcha!

The safety of our country is at risk here.  And Senator Harry Reid…he’s nothing but an Obama ass kisser.  He does nothing but prevent the truth from being told for his own agendas.  I truly believe Obama wanted the presidency so that he could take numerous long vacations, play golf, and B-ball, so he didn’t have to deal with leadership, all on the taxpayer’s dime.

What happened to President Reagan’s Star Wars Initiative?  It must still exist.  We have a new ship that has laser firepower and it never misses its targets, no matter how fast the jets fly.  The power we have does not mean war, but it will be a deterrent if we stand together with a line drawn in the sand.  Where is the courage and integrity of our government to stand firm on freedom?

I read the other day about a question of what will happen if missiles are fired upon the white House.  The solution was to put up blimps in the sky and check for missiles.  How high tech is that?  By the time the blimps are in the sky, we can say good-bye to Washington, D.C., but on second thought…

It is always iffy when electing a government official.  Promises are always broken because no matter what a politician decries, he has to be backed by other politicians who may not agree.  It takes the Legislative Congress and the Executive branch to make it happen.  This is a normal standoff we experience every day, every year, and every election.  But with the powerful oration of Obama, he has convinced the “uninformed and the gullible” that he can do it and solve our problems.

Here is a man who has no experience in business, no experience in leadership, and has no common sense regarding the fundamentals of our constitutional obligations, even when he declared he was a student of the constitution.  And you, the voters, were dumb enough to fall for it.  I guess Obama’s “business” card should read, “Fire, fire, pants on fire.  I promise to tell you the lies I can muster (master)”.

I never thought I would live long enough to see a sitting president surpass the idiocy and inane term of Jimmy Carter.  Obama makes Carter look like a cub scout.  Obama has screwed the American Taxpayer with so many blatant lies.  He promoted the raising of gas prices, no foreign policies, ridiculous healthcare mandates, outrageous EPA regulations, and the destruction of energy companies, preventing business startups and creating their downfalls.

We, as targets of all this destructive and idealistic disappointments, are in dire need of investing in the most popular health product today…Preparation-H.  I remember years ago when the shoplifters made Preparation-H their number one product to steal.  Do you know why?  It helped reduce the widening of their nostril cavities when snorting continuously the abundance of cocaine.  Gee, I wonder who was the first to come up with that idea.

Are you ready for a “real” change and not a prevaricated one?  Mid-term elections are ready for your votes.  So, unless the “real” change happens in November, grab your ankles, bend over, and kiss your ass goodbye.

Freedom is Alive

January, 17, 1951, was the date I was born.  I was in Spittal, on the river Drau, Austria.  My whole family was there as displaced persons (DPs) and my entire family lived in Bochnia, Poland, before my life began.

My grandmother, Leopoldine, owned a three story house where she rented out rooms and had a small café/restaurant downstairs.  She was a wonderful cook and because of her cooking she was visited often by the Gestapo and regular German soldiers as restaurant patrons.  The Germans didn’t bother Leopoldine and my grandfather, Henry, even though my mother and her siblings were born in Poland.  Leoplodine was a citizen of Austria, born in Vienna, but my grandfather was Polish.

Not everything was easy during the German occupation.  My grandmother’s sister was arrested and put in jail even though her husband was suffering with an illness.  The Germans’ reasoning for the arrest was to capture her son who was a member of the Polish Resistance.

My mother, Maria, was about ten years old then and she was allowed to walk to the jailhouse with food for her aunt.  The German guard was kind to little Maria and always had a smile for her when she arrived.  This situation went on for months.  On one occasion, as Maria was walking toward the town square, she was overwhelmed at the sight she encountered when she arrived at the square.  Hanging from one of the tall lampposts was three Polish residents.  She never forgot that ghoulish scene as it imprinted a picture in her mind for the rest of her life.  The three were hung in retribution for a shooting of a German soldier by the Resistance the night before.

Maria managed to make her way to the jailhouse that day even though her stomach felt queasy.  Finally after months of incarceration, her aunt’s husband died.  The Germans released her from jail in hopes her son would show up for his father’s funeral.  He never showed up and he never got to say goodbye to his father.

War was imminent by the United States, my grandmother managed to move the entire family back to Austria, at a place call Treffling. It was a Displaced Person Camp, where Spittal, Austria was a part of that functioning area.  Years later after the war, other countries began absorbing displaced people.  We were lucky to be taken to the United States on a troop ship.  I was ten months old on October 3, 1951 when we arrived and received my green card that was given to my mother, Maria. I never knew my father. I was in New York beginning a new life as a legal immigrant waiting for when I could appreciate the freedom that the United States stood for.  Growing up in Meriden, Connecticut, at 19, I joined the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam Era and never regretted my time spent in honor of my country.

The Silencing of Freedom

I would be leery of any Associated Press poll as it usually becomes statistically flawed and skewed. I personally have my doubts about any media polls and I have my own feelings of patriotism. Some would say I’m a cynic, but I would say I’m a realist. Peoples have been attacked and killed for any reason; for power, hate, religious views or pure greed. Would I give up my freedoms…absolutely not in any way, shape or form. If the government wants to protect us, do it without limiting our constitutional rights. Our citizens are turning into “sheeple” as someone once quoted. If you believe that the government has the right to shred our sacred Bill of Rights in the name of protection, you don’t belong here. You are better off living where a dictator would like to offer you his way of life. Today’s citizens are a bunch of zombies and masochists.

You may think these words are harsh, but if you sit back, use your brain and consider what your life would be like under a dominating government. You want protection? Give it to your local government where everyone has a choice to live. Keep the federal government from doing a state’s job and have Washington, D C. keep our shores safe here and in foreign countries before they come to our shores.

War and peace is like growing corn. You can’t have some peace without war and you can’t reap the corn without putting up with the stench of fertilizer, sweat, and the will to succeed. There is no era, decade, or millennium back to the dawn of time where there was total world peace. The answer will always be the same, not in anyone’s lifetime.

Man will never change because of free will. Man chooses his path at every fork in his life. Good and evil intentions will always be at war. Historically, our country has been the closest to keeping their citizens away from tyranny because the citizenry fought to keep and protect those rights. Many feel oppressed by the word “fighting,” because no one wants to see sons, daughters, or husbands die in the act of war. People must understand that it is always the choice of the person to enlist in war. Relatives should look at their siblings as men and women and not as children to protect them from harm. Parents should grow up and accept the patriotism of their offspring and honor them rather than blame the war. When attacking an enemy needs to be done, consider it as defending. That’s how the government keeps the war from your front yard, your immediate family, and your way of life safe from destruction.

“The problem in defense is how far you can go without destroying from within what you are trying to defend from without.” ~Dwight D. Eisenhower
